Tell us about your story:
We met through mutual friends/ housemates and it was a big team ski trip where we got together so we say our first date was on the slopes having ham and cheese omelette but when we got back to London we went to Sophie’s steakhouse in Chelsea!
When & where did you get engaged?
We had a kitchen lockdown engagement February 2021, it was our 5 year anniversary and Ben cooked up a storm with ham & cheese omelette to start then steak (our first dates) followed by affogato – a fave of ours! He bought me a new woolly hat – bit of a tradition and then got down on one knee in the kitchen – complete surprise as I thought he’d wait to post lockdowns – but it was just perfect! We then found out we were pregnant end of March!
What style/theme have you chosen for your wedding?
We’re still working out the details but we want it to be modern, beautiful but relaxed, the Hill Barn where the reception is amazing industrial barn with a stone barn so a bit of London/ modern with country and has amazing scenery and light. There’ll be lots of flowers, great food and drink with all our family and friends.
What are you most looking forward to on your Wedding day?
Becoming a family and having all of our friends and family together after COVID – bringing some love!
